About Spleet:
Spleet was founded in 2018 and we had initially set out to help common Africans starting with Nigerians, find houses and pay rent monthly, seamlessly and cost-effectively. However, over the past few years, we have identified a few other gaps that exist in the home renting value chain and we are dedicated to solving these problems through our product verticals; Marketplace, Rent Now Pay Later, Verify, Maintenance and Collect.
About the role:
We are looking to bring on board a values driven and passionate Content Writer to join our marketing and communications team. You will be responsible for generating exciting and compelling stories on both digital and digital and print media platforms. This role will particularly be a great fit for you if you enjoy research on industry related topics and pay great attention to detail.
What you would need to have (or very close to it) to excel in this role:
- 2 – 3 years prior experience as a content writer in an agile work environment
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and its application in optimizing content
- Great attention to detail; capitalization, punctuation and basic principles of grammar
- Possess an extensive vocabulary
- Can deliver main content theme in a clear, concise and persuasive manner
- Adequate knowledge of all or a combination of two or more of; Intercom, MailChimp, WordPress, and Ghost CMS
