Job Title: Content Writer & Social Media Manager

Location: Lagos (Fully Remote)

Employment Type: Contract

Salary: N75,000 – N100,000 Monthly.

Job Description

In this role, you’ll create engaging content across multiple platforms and manage our social media presence.

Responsibilities

Content Creation:

Write compelling and engaging content for blogs, social media, and email newsletters.
Create and script video content for YouTube.
Design and create visually appealing pins for Pinterest.

Social Media Management:

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Schedule and post content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.).
Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Email Marketing:

Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional emails.
Develop content that aligns with marketing goals and brand voice.
Monitor and report on the performance of email campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze the performance of content and social media campaigns.
Provide regular reports on key metrics and performance indicators.
Use data-driven insights to refine and improve content strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related fields
2+ years experience in content writing and social media management
Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools
Experience with SEO and content optimization
Familiarity with email marketing platforms
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh content ideas.
