Role Description

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between Eversend and our valued customers. We are looking for individuals who have an inherent desire to help others, guided by their intuition and empathy.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver world-class customer service that delights users by effectively responding to requests and issues via email, phone, and other communication channels.
  • Enable our customers to get the most from our online platforms and product.
  • Show proactive initiative and take ownership to effectively resolve customer problems.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service, actively listening to customer feedback, and proactively seeking ways to improve customer experience.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products, services and policies to assist customers effectively.
  • Collaborate with teams across Kampala, Accra, Lagos, Paris, London and Nairobi to address complex customer issues and enhance overall customer experience.


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 1 year proven experience in customer service.
  • Has the ability to ensure Customer Satisfaction.
  • Has the ability to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in order to meet business needs.
  • Is fluent in English.
  • Has the ability to work towards agreed performance targets.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Is critical, analytical, and enjoys thinking two steps ahead when solving problems.
  • Has the ability to work independently and remotely.

Preferred to have:

Experience in the financial or payments industry.

Bachelor’s Degree.

Knowledge of Intercom
