The Company:

Our client is a US-based software company dedicated to enhancing the online presence of merchants in the Shopify ecosystem.

The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer with demonstrated e-commerce expertise to help us deliver high-converting Shopify stores.

In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in UX/UI design within the e-commerce domain to develop user-centric design solutions that maximize conversions. Your role will be pivotal in directing our design efforts to ensure that our client Shopify stores are visually appealing, highly functional, and optimized for conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the visual and interaction design for high-performing e-commerce platforms, focusing on creating seamless, compelling user experiences.
Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are implemented with precision and align with business goals.
Apply your specialized knowledge in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to craft design prototypes and high-fidelity mockups.
Conduct user research and testing to validate design concepts and continuously improve user interfaces.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative team environment and promoting professional growth.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or a related field.
5-7 years of professional design experience, predominantly in e-commerce.
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in designing for e-commerce platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate design ideas effectively.
Previous experience designing for Shopify platforms is highly valued.
